Project Arrow 2022 Finalist Group
The Challenge - Project Arrow
Project Arrow is a competition that 3 classmates and myself signed up for to complete stage 1 in a few weeks time, and stage 2 over a few months. We were provided a project brief that gave us a lot of good constraints to work within and we attended an online meeting where a member of the Project Arrow team discussed the brief and answered our questions. The overall summary of the challenge was to design an autonomous level 4 vehicle with accessibility in mind. For our team, this meant designing a vehicle with various accessibility features, keeping universal design at our core.
Phase 2
After making it through the first phase of the project, we started learning multiple AutoDesk products including Alias AutoStudio, Fusion 360, and Inventor, we also learned Gravity Sketch as a prototyping tool. This phase was heavily CAD-dependent, fortunately, we had the opportunity to attend many workshops held by a variety of professionals to help us learn all the new software. We also set up a variety of meetings with different professionals who helped us gain an even deeper understanding of the AutoDesk products.
