The Problem

The goal of this project was to design a watering can for a specific demographic or space. I wanted to design a watering can that would blend in with a nice and modern office but would also stand out enough to act as a reminder to the plant owner.

The Solution

This watering can’s shape allows for easy holding, carrying, and usage. The feeling while pouring the watering can is very enjoyable and satisfying for the user. The three colours were chosen to be eye-catching but also mesh well with most modern office spaces. This not only reminds but encourages the user to use the product leading to a happier plant and office environment.

Both sketching and small paper models were done to get the final desired form. The final form was made out of foam core in section view style. The foam core was cut and then glued using hot glue.
